The trailer of the film Real Ringet has been released.

Kathmandu – The official trailer of the Nepali film *Real Ringet*, which is set to be released on Shrawan 16 (July 31), has been made public. Released on the occasion of Shrawan Sankranti, the trailer portrays the struggles Nepali youth are compelled to face due to foreign employment and the various hardships they endure in the course of pursuing such work.

Some scenes in the trailer are deeply moving. They evoke memories of Nepali workers who were taken hostage and held captive by terrorists. One such scene shows actor Pramod Chaulagain sending a video message back to Nepal while still in captivity, which is shown being broadcast on television.

Following the trailer’s release, the film’s director, Vibhor Pokharel, stated that *Real Ringet* reflects the story of every Nepali. He said, “This film will closely portray the harsh realities and lifestyles of young Nepalis who go abroad for employment.”

The title *Real Ringet* is symbolic in itself. “Riyal” is the currency of Qatar and Saudi Arabia, while “Ringgit” is the currency of Malaysia. The combination of these two currencies points to the major destination countries for Nepali labor migrants—places where hundreds of thousands of Nepalis work to support their families and seek a better future.

Along with Pramod Chaulagain and Nita Dhungana, the film features performances by Chhulthim Dolma Gurung, Rabindra Khadka, Dhruba Koirala, Prem Subba, Ramchandra Adhikari, Riyar Rai, Roshan Shrestha, Ishwari Baral, Bimala Giri, and others. The film is written by Pradeep Bhardwaj. It features action direction by Roshan Shrestha, cinematography by Hari Ghale, editing by Bipin Mall, background score by Kiran Tuladhar, and choreography by Rajiv Samar.

The film’s songs are composed by Ramchandra Kafle, Kiran Tuladhar, and Chandan Dhwaj KC, and sung by Sugam Pokharel, Ketan Kshetri, Ramchandra Kafle, and Junu Rijal Kafle. Lyrics are penned by Amar Nyaupane, Ravi Mall, Kosis Kshetri, Pradeep Bhardwaj, and Chandan Dhwaj KC.

*Real Ringet* was filmed in Rajasthan (India), as well as in Chitwan, Kathmandu, and Letang in Nepal. The film will be distributed by Kafiya Films.
